The event with take place in the Portland, Oregon area, from 9:00-4:30 pm.
The exact location will be shared after registration, which is required for this event. The retreat will be offered for free.

From the organizer: “We know how full life can be, and our intention with this format is to make retreat practice more accessible while still honoring depth, presence, and community. It is being offered by the DiabetesSangha at no cost.

About the retreat
This day will lean into the three core aspects of mindfulness practice:
Intention. Attention. Retention.

Together, we’ll practice with guidance and also spend time practicing on our own—cultivating a more personal, lived relationship with meditation so the practice can truly become your own.

The day will include guided meditations, a teaching talk, and spacious shared practice. We’ll mostly hold silence during the retreat, with opportunities to connect and share at the beginning and again at the end of the day.”
